Product description
Folding Chef Knife and Drawstring Bag
The nCamp Food Prep Knife is a high-quality knife designed to enhance your outdoor cooking experience. It's designed for those who venture into the backcountry, but also for everyday use: barbecuing in the garden or park, picnics, and even daily kitchen use (at home or in a cabin).
The chef blade is inspired by a classic Western knife and is suitable for all types of cuts and slices. The blade is made from 9Cr18MoV steel, which combines corrosion resistance, toughness, and edge retention. It features our signature cutouts, which save material (and weight) at the widest part of the blade without affecting performance or comfort when pressure is applied to the spine. The cutouts also provide a certain advantage, allowing you to open the blade with your thumb.
The handle of this knife is made of light beech wood and is robust and simple. The shape of the handle is designed to be comfortable and secure in the hand, allowing for a variety of grips. It is curved at the balance point, allowing for a gradual transition between handle and blade. The fasteners are flush-mounted, so there are no disturbing bumps, and we have minimized the holes that tend to collect dirt. The top of the handle is closed, which makes it comfortable to hold and very stable. The ratio between the handle and the blade allows for full use of the blade and provides enough clearance to prevent your knuckles from hitting the cutting surface.
The frame features a liner lock, which makes the blade very secure when open. The Elite Edition Knives include a custom leather sheath with a belt loop. Designed in the USA.
