Job Profile: Part-time Accountant (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

  • Independent processing of ongoing financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounts)
  • Monitoring and processing payment transactions and handling dunning procedures
  • Preparation and support for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Preparation of VAT advance returns and other tax declarations
  • Reconciliation and maintenance of accounts, as well as booking entries
  • Processing of travel expense reports
  • Point of contact for internal and external partners (e.g., tax advisors, auditors)

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed commercial training with a focus on finance and accounting or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a medium-sized company
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., DATEV, SAP, or comparable)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Sound knowledge of German tax law and accounting principles (HGB)
  • Diligent, structured, and self-reliant working style
  • Good communication skills and team orientation
  • Flexibility in working hours (20–30 hours per week)
