Product description
Foldable Santoku knife with leather case
The nCamp Food Prep Knife is a high-quality knife that enhances your outdoor cooking experience. It was designed for those venturing into the backcountry, but is also suitable for everyday use: barbecues in the backyard or park, picnics, and even daily use in the kitchen (at home or in a cabin).
The Santoku is based on a classic Japanese utility knife. The serrated blade prevents food from sticking, and its wide surface is ideal for scooping and moving ingredients. The Damascus blade is crafted from 10Cr15MoV steel, which combines beauty, corrosion resistance, and toughness while delivering a razor-sharp edge. It features our signature cutouts that reduce weight at the widest point of the blade without compromising performance or comfort when applying pressure to the spine. These cutouts also offer the added benefit of allowing the blade to be opened with the thumb.
This knife features a dark-stained walnut handle that is both robust and beautiful. The handle's shape is designed for a comfortable and secure grip, accommodating a variety of hand positions. It is curved at the balance point, creating a smooth transition between the handle and blade. The bolsters are flush-mounted, eliminating any distracting bumps, and we've minimized the number of holes where dirt can accumulate. The closed top of the handle provides a comfortable and secure grip. The handle-to-blade ratio allows for full blade utilization while providing ample clearance to prevent your knuckles from hitting the cutting edge.
The frame features a liner lock, ensuring a very secure blade opening. The Elite Edition knives include a custom leather sheath with a belt loop. Designed in the USA.
