Product description
Folding chef's knife with leather case
The nCamp Food Prep Knife is a high-quality knife that enhances your outdoor cooking experience. It was designed for those venturing into the backcountry, but is also suitable for everyday use: barbecues in the backyard or park, picnics, and even daily use in the kitchen (at home or in a cabin).
The chef's blade is modeled after a classic Western utility knife and is suitable for all types of cutting and slicing tasks. The Damascus blade is made of 10Cr15MoV steel, which strikes a balance between beauty, corrosion resistance, and toughness while providing a very sharp edge. It features our signature cutouts that reduce material (and weight) at the widest point of the blade without compromising performance or comfort when applying pressure to the spine. These cutouts also offer the advantage of allowing the blade to be flicked open with the thumb.
The handle of this knife is crafted from dark walnut wood, which is both robust and beautiful. The handle is shaped for a comfortable and secure grip, accommodating a variety of hand positions. It features a curved balance point, creating a smooth transition between the handle and blade. The cleats are flush-mounted, eliminating any distracting bumps, and we've minimized the number of holes that tend to collect dirt. The closed top of the handle provides a comfortable and secure grip. The handle-to-blade ratio allows for full blade engagement while providing ample clearance to prevent your knuckles from hitting the cutting edge.
The frame features a liner lock, ensuring a very secure blade opening. The Elite Edition knives include a custom leather sheath with a belt loop. Designed in the USA.
