This modern classic is a fully-fledged survival knife that is up to any challenge in the wilderness thanks to its versatility. Whether building a shelter, hunting, catching or skinning game or preparing meals - the German Expedition Knife is convincing all along the line. The well thought-out blade shape, based on the extensive experience of Tony Lennartz, makes the G.E.K. a tried and tested universal tool that has already proven itself thousands of times in practice.
The “German Expedition Knife”, developed by Tony Lennartz, is made of edge-holding NitroX7(X70CrMoVN 15) steel, which offers the best performance for all tasks thanks to its fine microstructure and high corrosion resistance. The easy-care stonewash finish also ensures an attractive appearance. The ergonomic handle design with skeletonized construction and replaceable G10 handle scales guarantees a secure grip. A striker in the end of the handle extends the range of applications. The leather sheath, which can be worn on the left or right, is designed for the so-called “cross draw” carrying method and is equipped with a practical push-button latch. The GEK models are numbered consecutively.

Ein Klassiker unter den Survivalmessern. Ich hatte schon das erste bei Puma gefertigte GEK von Tony, welches bis auf das Gewicht, alles was es bei der Jagd in der Wildnis an Aufgaben gibt erfolgreich erledigt hat.Dann gab es eine leichtere Griff Bauweise mit Alu Schalen welches mich bis heute zuverlässig begleitet.Wer ein treuen Begleiter für alle anfallenden Arbeit im Wald sucht wird hier nicht enttäuscht.Ich habe das GEK seit mehreren Jahrzehnten in Nutzung .
