Product description
Franz-Albrecht zu Oettingen-Spielberg – Hunting Tradition Meets Modern Practice
Franz-Albrecht zu Oettingen-Spielberg, born on September 16, 1982, in Munich, comes from the traditional noble family Oettingen-Spielberg. At a young age, he was introduced to hunting by his father – a passionate hunter and successful marksman in the Olympic Trap discipline. Early on, he developed a high degree of shooting skill and hunting precision. His great passion is driven hunting, especially for wild boars. With his exceptional shooting technique, his instinct for game, and his lived hunting ethics, he has made a name for himself throughout Europe. Today, he is considered one of Europe's most famous and accomplished hunters, combining tradition with modern hunting methods.
His great passion is dedicated to the 5 main species of big game: red deer, fallow deer, mouflon, wild boar, and roe deer.
This model is perfect for powerful red deer hunting: a robust construction for reliable handling, yet balanced for precise cuts. Developed to work cleanly on larger carcasses. Hunting knives should have good stability. This insight was consistently implemented in our PUMA "rotwild" (red deer) knife. The result is a heavy hunting all-rounder with a strong flat-ground blade, whose full-tang construction extends through the handle and is fitted with voluminous stag horn scales. A solid nickel silver guard serves as a handguard. These features make the "rotwild" model suitable for heavier cutting tasks and will not let its owner down in any situation.
In this exceptional Franz-Albrecht zu Oettingen-Spielberg (FAOS) Edition, you receive the PUMA rotwild knife with a cognac-colored leather sheath. Additionally, you will find the FAOS logo on the back of the main blade, as well as individual numbering of the knife (The knives are numbered consecutively. Numbers are assigned in order of receipt. Therefore, selecting a specific number is not possible).
As we process natural products, visual deviations between the knife image and the originals are possible.
