Product description

PUMA Frevert hunting knife – A classic with history and character

The hunting knife designed by Walter Frevert is a true piece of hunting history. Developed in the mid-20th century by Chief Forester Frevert, this model has stood for reliability, functionality, and German craftsmanship for decades.

With its compact shape and extremely robust blade, the hunting knife is not only suitable for hunting but also for all other tasks that arise in the field . The stable bevel in the tip of the blade ensures effective work while maintaining safety.

The handle scales made of genuine staghorn , lined with red fiber, offer not only a classic look but also a secure, non-slip grip in all weather conditions. The nickel silver bolsters complete the high-quality appearance and provide additional stability and protection.

Made for hunters: The PUMA hunting knife is not just a tool – it's a loyal companion for demanding tasks in the field. A true classic – proven over generations.

Frequently Asked Questions from Our Customers

Can I legally carry this knife?
Since this is a fixed-blade knife with a blade length exceeding 12 cm, it is generally subject to the prohibition on carrying weapons under Section 42a of the Weapons Act – except in cases of legitimate interest such as hunting, forestry work, or traditional events. It may, of course, be carried within hunting grounds.

Is the leather sheath secure?
Yes – it has two securing straps with snap fasteners that hold the knife firmly in the sheath even when moving.

Is the knife also suitable for fine work?
Despite its robust design, the blade geometry allows for controlled cutting – ideal for all field work.

Is the knife a genuine Solingen product?
Yes – the model is manufactured entirely in Germany at the Solingen site , with the highest precision and proven PUMA quality.
