diamond
grinding wheel
The HORL® Diamond Standard is the ideal surface for efficiently sharpening all knife steels of any hardness without water. The 46 μm grain size ensures optimal sharpening results and guarantees a long service life.
ceramics
Puller wheel
After processing with the HORL®Diamond Standard, the ceramic honing wheel significantly refines the grinding result. Just a few strokes are sufficient. The result is a smooth, clean, and perfectly sharpened knife edge.
20° grinding angle
for stable sharpness
The 20° sharpening angle is the ultimate all-purpose weapon in the fight against dull knives. It even gives many pocket knives a stable edge and excellent sharpness for everyday use.
15° grinding angle
for maximum sharpness
The 15° sharpening angle allows even the finest blades made of Damascus steel and high-quality carbon steel to achieve maximum sharpness. These knife edges can be ground to a very delicate finish while retaining their stability.
High-caliber
Efficiency
The HORL® Diamond Standard is the most durable and efficient abrasive on the market. The monocrystalline diamonds are harder than any knife steel and are fixed in a nickel bed by an electroplating process to a depth of approximately 55%.
The magnetic grinding gauge
The secret to the perfect angle
The combination of powerful neodymium magnets and the HORL®S-Pad ensures the knife is securely fixed during sharpening. Enhanced by the S-Pad's anti-slip effect, even small blades can be sharpened consistently and reproducibly at the desired height.
