Product description
PUMA white hunter – lion edition
The "white hunter" model is an ultimate classic with a universal blade that has been tried and tested for decades to meet the highest demands – Handmade in Solingen.
The two exquisite woods symbolize the majestic appearance of the male lion: the deep red plum wood represents his powerful, thick mane, while the light, richly textured olive wood reflects the silky sheen of his coat. Thus, this knife unites strength and elegance in a unique homage to the king of the savanna.
Developed in 1956 for the East African Hunting Association (EAPHA), the PUMA "White Hunter" quickly became known worldwide as the ultimate outdoor knife and is now considered an extremely popular classic. Its blade shape is meticulously designed and effortlessly meets all conceivable requirements.
The sturdy tip is robust enough to open cans or pry open bottle caps. A hatchet edge is ground into the center of the blade's spine, ideal for rough work such as splitting firewood or chopping bones. Additionally, the blade features practical serrations at the rear for cutting green branches, fish skin, or similar materials with a tough surface.
This exclusive version of the model features high-quality handle scales made from two different, carefully selected types of wood: deep red, shimmering plum wood and beautifully grained olive wood. An elegant brass inlay is incorporated between the wooden elements, further emphasizing the refined appearance of this classic design.
Another highlight of this lion version is the beautiful laser engraving on the blade. The knives are numbered consecutively. The numbers are assigned upon receipt of the order. Therefore, selecting a specific number is not possible.

Since we process natural products, visual differences between the knife image and the original are possible.
Each wooden handle is unique – plum wood impresses with its deep red color, while olive wood scores points with its contrasting grain and Mediterranean flair. The craftsmanship is meticulous to ensure both a pleasant feel and stability. The additional brass inlay adds visual elegance and extra strength to the handle area.
