Product description
After a long and demanding testing phase in the wilderness, we can finally present the final knife! On Hunt to Survive (on YouTube) you can see our 3 models of the series "in action".
Discover the perfect companion for your next outdoor adventure! This powerful full-tang knife impresses with its robust appearance and well-thought-out design. The two-tone green and red G10 handle not only offers a unique look but also excellent grip and durability – even under demanding conditions. Includes a lanyard hole for attaching a lanyard. The blade made of high-quality D2 steel with an elegant satin finish guarantees maximum cutting performance and high resistance to wear.
Using with a fire steel
To create sparks with a fire steel (also called a fire starter) and a knife, you will need some practice. Hold the fire steel firmly in one hand and place the sharp spine of the knife blade (the notch at the front of the blade) – not the cutting edge – at an angle of about 90 degrees against the steel. Pull the knife downwards over the fire steel with even, firm pressure. This will create hot metal particles that will spark off. Direct these sparks onto a prepared tinder nest made of dry material such as birch bark, cotton wool, or dry grass.
The knife comes in a precisely fitting Kydex sheath with steel clips, which offers a secure hold. The Kydex sheath can then be variably attached to a belt or equipment. The integrated drainage hole prevents waterlogging and facilitates cleaning. Whether at the campfire or in the wilderness – this knife is a reliable companion that combines strength, style, and functionality in every situation.
Please note: D2 is a semi-stainless outdoor steel, which allows it to achieve better cutting ability. It is possible for the steel to rust if not properly maintained. Please clean the knife after use and oil it before storing it for a long period.
Further down you have the choice whether you want to buy the knife with or without the HUNT TO SURVIVE laser engraving on the back of the blade.
