Product description

The 4 cm wide and 19 cm long blade of the "Chef's Knife" is universally usable, but particularly designed for cutting meat and fish. This chef's knife excels with its pleasant feel, especially when larger quantities need to be processed.

The kitchen knives from the PUMA IP series originate from a design by the German knifemaker and non-fiction author Ernst Siebeneicher-Hellwig and combine high Japanese blade quality with the advantages of a modern design.
Each individual knife is manufactured with the utmost care from the best materials. The blade has 67 rust-free layers, with the core made of Japanese V-Gold No.10 High Carbon Stainless Steel (VG10). This is a very hard and edge-retaining knife steel. The layers on the VG10 core layer consist of 33 layers per side, with the Japanese steels SUS 430 and SUS 431 alternating. The blade is ice-hardened to approx. 60 HRC and is characterized by excellent edge retention, which keeps the knife sharp for a long time.
The handle is made of warp-resistant Pakkawood. Due to these properties and the high processing quality, each knife is perfectly suited for all cutting tasks in the kitchen. In addition, the functional handle-blade design supports the comfortable handling of all PUMA IP kitchen knives. To ensure you enjoy it for as long as possible, always store the high-quality cutting tool on a knife holder or in its packaging and please observe the care instructions that we include with each item.
