The "frischling" model is one of the traditionally manufactured Trachtennicker knives and is therefore a typical German knife – from PUMA Solingen.
The PUMA "frischling" is a classic, forged, stainless steel hunting knife. In German-speaking countries, this popular style is often used as a traditional knife, particularly for regional customs. The traditionally designed knife is forged with a hand guard and features a rounded tang topped with a grippy staghorn roller and end cap. Whether used as a hunting or traditional knife, this knife has been a staple in our pattern books for well over a century and will undoubtedly retain its reputation as a "typically German knife" for years to come.
