Product description
This high-quality bread knife has a blade length of 25 cm, making it ideal for cutting even large loaves of bread. The precise serrated edge effortlessly cuts through all types of bread, baguettes, and baked goods with a crust.
The kitchen knives from the PUMA IP series are based on a design by the German knifemaker and non-fiction author Ernst Siebeneicher-Hellwig and combine high Japanese blade quality with the advantages of modern design.
Each individual piece is manufactured with the utmost care from the best materials. The blade has 67 rust-free layers, with the core made of Japanese V-Gold No.10 High Carbon Stainless Steel (VG10). This is a very hard and durable knife steel. The layers on the VG10 core layer consist of 33 layers per side, with the Japanese steels SUS 430 and SUS 431 alternating. The blade is ice-hardened to approx. 60 HRC and is characterized by excellent edge retention, which keeps the knife sharp for a long time.
The handle is made of warp-resistant Pakka wood. Due to these properties and the high manufacturing quality, each knife is ideally suited for all cutting tasks in the kitchen. In addition, the functional handle-blade design supports the comfortable handling of all PUMA IP kitchen knives. To ensure you enjoy it for as long as possible, always store the high-quality cutting tool on a knife holder or in its packaging and please observe the care instructions that we include with each item.
