Product description

Tormek's DE-200 Diamond Wheel Extra Fine is a diamond wheel that provides an extra fine finish and is especially suitable for carving tools and knives where the need for material removal is low. The grit size is 1200 grit.

  • Provides an extra fine surface finish.
  • Constant shape, always maintains the same diameter.
  • Sharpens all types of steel and ceramic.
  • Allows sharpening on the side of the wheel, ensuring a completely smooth bevel.
  • Exceptional durability with the world's hardest abrasive: diamond.

A grinding wheel for all materials

With this diamond wheel, most materials, including steel, ceramic, and carbide, can be sharpened. The DE-200 Diamond Wheel Extra Fine is suitable for Tormek T-4 Original, Tormek T-4 Bushcraft, Tormek T-3, as well as for older models with a 200 mm diameter grinding wheel.

Simplifies repetitive sharpening

All Tormek diamond grinding wheels boast exceptional durability and consistent sharpening performance, meaning they always remain round and smooth and maintain their full diameter. This is advantageous for users who frequently sharpen the same tools, as it simplifies setup and sharpening.

Achieving a completely flat bevel

Thanks to its constant shape, it is possible to sharpen either on the side of the wheel or on its top surface. Sharpening on the side is perfect for smaller tools such as knives, chisels, sculptor's gouges, and parting tools. The result is an edge with a completely flat bevel instead of a slightly concave shape.

For sharpening on the side of diamond wheels, we recommend using the MB-100 Multi Base together with the jig designed for your specific tool.
