Product description

A piece of PUMA history for discerning collectors and enthusiasts of classic hunting knives!

Discover the PUMA 4-Star Hunting Knife 6025, a traditional hunting knife crafted in Solingen and manufactured in the first quarter of 1985. With the production number 19581, this historic knife is a special collector’s item that combines classic craftsmanship, timeless design, and the unmistakable charm of genuine vintage knives.

Despite its age, the knife is in very good condition. The blade shows no chips, and the handle wood has no nicks or similar damage. Only minimal scratches on the blade and handle, as well as a slight patina on the brass fittings, bear witness to its history. For enthusiasts of authentic vintage knives, it is precisely these subtle signs of aging that contribute to the knife’s special character. Of course, the brass fittings can be polished if desired—or you can choose to preserve the original, period-appropriate patina.

The PUMA 4-Star Nicker 6025 is one of the classic, fixed-blade hunting knives. The time-honored 4-Star series is synonymous with high-quality craftsmanship, a clean design, and the fusion of functionality and classic aesthetics.

The compact design and slightly curved blade are engineered for precise cutting tasks. The ergonomically shaped wooden handle fits comfortably in the hand, while the brass fittings give the knife its distinctive look.

Whether as an addition to an existing knife collection, as a special collector’s item with historical significance, or as a classic hunting knife for enthusiasts of traditional cutlery—the PUMA 4-star 6025 impresses with its authentic charm and its heritage rooted in the Solingen tradition.

A special highlight is the original yellow-green PUMA plastic box with a green plastic inlay, which has been preserved to this day. The packaging is also in good condition for its age. There are no major cracks; only a few minor signs of wear are visible.

This special example from PUMA’s earlier production run was acquired by PUMA, restored, and is now being offered as a rare vintage find. Currently, only one example is available. If you appreciate classic hunting knives made in Germany and would like to expand your collection with a distinctive piece of PUMA history, this is a special opportunity for you.

Secure the PUMA 4-Star Hunting Knife 6025 from the first quarter of 1985—with production number 19581, the original plastic box, and the unmistakable charm of an authentic vintage knife from Solingen.
