Product description
This tactical folder, manufactured in Solingen, was specifically designed for the tough use of military and police special forces.
Practical design and reliable technology offer maximum functionality, making the PUMA soos tactical the perfect tactical knife! For private use, the PUMA soos is also available with a standard drop-point blade. (soos specialist)
This project was successfully realized through the collaboration of internationally renowned close-combat expert Paul Soos and designer Heinz-Peter Knoop, with the support of army and police specialists. The black, asymmetrical, medium-pointed blade, made of 440 high-performance steel, was developed using state-of-the-art technology to achieve perfect stabbing and cutting performance. The recurved blade with partial serrations is suitable for cutting through thick fabric, ropes, and other materials. The fuller, upper hand guard, and thumb stud for left- or right-handed opening optimize the usability and operational capabilities of this tactical knife.
The black aluminum handle is ergonomically shaped and features knurling at the ends for optimal grip and control. The extended spine of the blade within the handle provides maximum impact resistance and stability, approaching that of a fixed-blade knife. The backlock mechanism with an additional safety catch ensures secure blade closure. The innovative use of generously sized, removable retaining clips on both sides of the handle optimizes ergonomics and, consequently, grip. A hardened glass breaker, ideally suited for self-defense (in both the open and closed positions), further enhances the knife's capabilities as a rescue tool.
Closing the knife can be done in two ways:
1. Briefly pressing the spring lever moves the blade to a quarter-closed position. Pressing it again fully closes the blade (securely).
2. Hold the spring lever down and close it in a swivel motion.
Attention: Only a limited number of units are available on the open market.
