This tactical folder, manufactured in Solingen, was specially designed for the demanding use by military and police special forces.

Practical design and reliable technology offer maximum functionality, making the PUMA soos tactical the perfect tactical knife! For private use, the PUMA soos is also available with a normal drop-point blade (soos specialist).

This project was successfully implemented through the collaboration of internationally renowned close-combat expert Paul Soos with designer Heinz-Peter Knoop, and with the support of army and police specialists. The black, asymmetrically centered blade made of 440 high-performance steel was developed using the latest technological insights to achieve perfect piercing and cutting ability. The inward-curved blade (recurve) with partial serration in the rear area is suitable for cutting through strong fabric, ropes, etc. The fuller, the upper handguard, and the pin for left or right-handed opening optimize the applicability and usability of this tactical knife.

The black aluminum handle is ergonomically shaped and features grooves at the ends to ensure optimal grip and control. The extended blade back in the handle allows for maximum impact resistance and stability, close to that of a fixed blade. The backlock mechanism with an additional safety feature ensures secure blade closing. Innovative is the use of generously sized, removable, double-sided belt clips, which optimize ergonomics in the palm of the hand—and thus also the grip. A hardened glass breaker, which is also perfectly suited for self-defense (both open and closed), optimizes the tactical knife as a rescue tool.

Closing the knife in two ways:

1. Briefly press the spring lever, and the blade moves to a quarter-closed position. By pressing again, the blade can be fully folded in (safe closing).

2. Hold the spring lever down and close it in one swift motion.
