The oilstones are hewn from the rock in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas. The unique structure of the novakulite makes Arkansas oilstones extremely wear-resistant and, unlike other whetstones, they never need to be flattened or dressed. Perfect for sharpening knives and other tools. The small, handy sharpening stone comes in a plastic case. Stand not included.
