Product description

The "ehrensaufeder frevert" is decorative wall decor for the hunting room and an indispensable, traditional polearm at the same time - from PUMA Solingen.

The practical PUMA "ehrensaufeder nach Frevert" follows the traditional custom of carrying a bare polearm while hunting. This successful model was developed in the middle of the last century by OFM Walter Frevert and is still highly valued today due to its following characteristics: The forged tip made of hardened tool steel is sharpened and polished by hand in several steps. The octagonal ash wood shaft is finely sanded by hand in increasingly finer steps and then impregnated with a natural oil mixture. The winding made of very tough saddle leather is treated with a special leather balm and fastened with hand-forged, blued nails. The accompanying saddle leather sheath for the tip is very high quality and has a real boar's rind applied to one side. This professional PUMA boar spear thus stands not only for tradition, but also for true craftsmanship.

Overall weight: approx. 3.1 kg
Forged tool steel tip
Shaft: Ash, octagonal with leather covering, impregnated
