Product description

To commemorate the 250th anniversary, we have reissued this brass hoofprint seal. In the 1960s, Walter Frevert made impressions of the important footprints in clay and cast them as ashtrays for PUMA. Today, these hoofprint seals reflect tradition and customs. The seals have been recast exactly as they were.

"For over 850 years, many customs have developed in Europe for tracking game. One of these is the careful observation of impressions in soft ground or snow. This art was already mentioned in 1500 by Emperor Maximilian, who compiled an interesting collection of characteristic game tracks. To reintroduce this noble tradition to today's hunter, I have pressed the most important tracks in nature into clay and had them artistically sculpted by Lies Ketterer." Walter Frevert, Chief Forester

The elegant footprint is intended for various uses: ashtray, paperweight, gift, honoring the hunting king, etc.

Dimensions: 136 x 116 x 31 mm
Weight: 687 g
Material: Brass
Packaging: Gift box with magnetic closure 215 x 161 x 51 mm, including certificate
