Product description

The “cougar hirschhorn” model is a true designer piece that looks just as good in use as it does in a collector’s display case – from PUMA Solingen.

The "cougar" model was designed by Richard Hehn, one of Germany's most renowned knifemakers. A part of the PUMA range for decades, it has retained its legendary status to this day.

The blade is made of DIN 1.4112 stainless steel and hardened to up to 57 HRC.

Another unique feature is the knife's construction: The blade and the one-piece handle, manufactured using a precision steel casting process, are separate elements joined together using a special technique. The blade has a short, flat tang that is inserted into the handle through an opening and riveted securely in place. The rivet joint is then capped with a polished steel cap bearing our company logo, the familiar diamond shape with the puma's head.

Since we process natural products, visual differences between the knife image and the originals are possible.
