PUMA soos tactical

This tactical folder, manufactured in Solingen, Germany, has been specially designed for the tough operation of military and police special forces.

Practical design and reliable technology offer a maximum of functionality and make the PUMA soos tactical the perfect tactical mission knife! For private use, the PUMA soos is also available with a normal drop-point blade. (soos specialist)

In cooperation with the internationally renowned close-combat expert Paul Soos and with the designer Heinz-Peter Knoop, as well as with the support of army and police specialists, this project was successfully implemented. The black, asymmetrical mid-pointed blade made of 440 high performance steel was developed using the latest technological findings to achieve perfect stab and cut performance. The blade (recurve) with partial toothing, curved inwards at the rear, is suitable for cutting strong fabrics, ropes, etc. The groove, the upper hand guard and the pin for left or right hand opening optimize the application and use of this tactical knife.

The black aluminium handle is ergonomically shaped and equipped with ribs at the ends to ensure optimal holding and guiding. The continued blade back in the handle provides maximum shock resistance and stability, close to that of a fixed knife. The backlock closing mechanism with additional safety device allows a safer closing of the blade. An innovative feature is the use of generously dimensioned retaining clips (removable) on both sides, which optimise the ergonomics in the core of the hand - and thus also the grip. A hardened glass breaker, which in its shape is also ideally suited for self-defence (in open and closed state), optimizes the mission knife also as a rescue tool.

Closing the knife in two ways:

1. by pressing the spring lever only briefly, the blade reaches a quarter-closed position. By pressing it further, the blade can be folded in completely (safe closing).

2. you keep the spring lever pressed and close in one swing.
