For the 250th anniversary we have reissued this brass step seal. In the 1960s Walter Frevert imprinted the important trail images into clay and cast them as an ashtray on behalf of PUMA. Today, tradition and customs are reflected in the stamps of footsteps. The tread seals were cast 1:1 after.
"For more than 850 years, many customs have developed in Europe to follow the footsteps of the game. One of them is the precise observation of impressions in soft ground or in snow. As early as 1500 this art was mentioned by Emperor Maximilian, who recorded an interesting compilation of the characteristic tracks of the game. In order to bring this noble custom closer to today's hunter, I pressed the most important tracks in nature into clay and had the sculptor Lies Ketterer worked on artistically. " Walter Frevert, Chief Forester
