The model is no longer made with Micarta handle scales. As an improved alternative, we now offer the model with G10 scales.

In the SGB line of our overseas agency “PUMA Knife Company USA”  are many replicas of classic PUMA models from earlier decades that we no longer produce in Solingen. However, we now also offer some of these special pieces to our national customers. All knives of the SGB series have blades made from German steel according to DIN 1.4116! The PUMA SGB hunter's friend is a replica of a model that we manufactured back in the 1950s. The functional drop point design with a slightly sharpened tip has proven itself very well. The almost 12 cm long blade has an additional blood groove. This classic knife can be used in all areas of nature, such as: hunting, fishing, camping and bushcraft. This model has micarta handle as well as thumb recess and brass bolsters. Included is a high-quality sheath made from nylon with leather trim.
