The chef's knives in the PUMA IP series are based on a design by the German knifemaker and reference book author Ernst Siebeneicher-Hellwig and combine high Japanese blade quality with the advantages of a modern design.
Each one is made with the greatest care from the best materials. The blade consists of 67 stainless steel layers, with the core made of Japanese V-Gold No.10 high carbon stainless steel (VG10). This is a very hard and cutting knife steel. The layers on the VG10 core consist of 33 layers on each side, alternating between the Japanese SUS 430 and SUS 431 steels. The blade is ice-hardened to approx. 60 HRC and has excellent edge retention that keeps the knife sharp for a long time.
The handle is made of warp-free pakka wood. Due to these features and the high quality of workmanship, each knife is ideally suited for all cutting tasks in the kitchen. In addition, the functional handle-blade design supports the comfortable handling of all PUMA IP chef's knives. To ensure that you enjoy them for as long as possible, always store the high-quality cutting tool on a knife holder or in the packaging and please follow the care instructions that we enclose with each knife.

hervorragende Küchenmesser
Ich habe einige (lt. meiner Frau zu viele) Küchenmesser. Diese Messer stechen aber hervor: extreme Schärfe, liegen ausgezeichnet in der Hand - ein Genuss, sie täglich zu nutzen! Von meiner Seite kann diese Messer nur weiterempfehlen.
