Product description
The robust hunting knife was specially developed for the proper field dressing of game directly on the spot, for example during hunting trips. The knife features a 4 mm thick, classic skinner blade made of 440 C steel combined with a gut hook. There is a thumb rest on the spine of the blade to allow a finger to be placed securely while cutting.
Due to the large curve in the front area of the 12 cm long blade, the cutting edge is very large, so that in addition to local species, big game can also be butchered with the PUMA IP Schwarzwild if required.
The transition to the handle area is formed by a hand guard with nickel silver bolsters; classic stag horn was chosen for the handle scales. A lanyard can be threaded through the eyelet at the end of the handle. With a weight of 285 g and a total length of 23.5 cm, the PUMA IP Schwarzwild cannot exactly be called a "lightweight," but the dimensions are exactly right for its intended use. Included in the scope of delivery is a neatly crafted leather sheath that securely holds the knife for transport. Awarded the "Golden Boar" by Jäger magazine in 2012.
Since we work with natural products, variations in color and structure are possible - each knife is unique.
