The "bowie" model belongs to a type of knife that was already known in the vastness of the North American prairie well over one hundred and fifty years ago and still carries the typical feel of the "Wild West" - from PUMA Solingen.

The "bowie" model is a thoroughbred classic among PUMA knives. The PUMA bowie knife is a medium-weight hunting and working knife, but also a very special model for hobbyists and collectors. The name goes back to the Texan folk hero James Bowie. The American myth lives on at PUMA.

Since we process natural products, optical deviations between knife illustration and the originals are possible.

I purchased a Puma Bowie Stag Handle knife 40 years ago and I have used it for hunting, skinning, fishing and general use from caving up the roast it is as good as the day I purchased it.
