Product description
The “skinmaster” model is a solid, full-tang skinning knife forged from a single piece of steel in a die—a classic, high-quality product from PUMA Solingen.
In hunting terminology, terms such as “stripping the hide,” “skinning,” or “flaying” refer to the proper skinning of game. The skinmaster was developed for this demanding task. Its characteristic blade shape enables precise and controlled work, while the one-piece forged full tang construction ensures maximum stability and durability.
The blade is made of stainless steel conforming to DIN 1.4116. The ergonomic handle scales, crafted from select ebony, are permanently riveted to the full tang and ensure a secure and comfortable grip.
PUMA has refurbished this special knife from an earlier production run and is now offering it as a true rarity. Currently, only a single example is available—a rare opportunity for collectors, enthusiasts of classic hunting knives, and anyone who wishes to own an extraordinary piece of PUMA history.
Since we process natural products, variations in color and structure are possible - each knife is unique.
