We are offering our legendary Puma Ehren-Saufeder damascus, after the design by forestry master Walter Frevert. The Saufedern will be serially numbered.
The "ehrensaufeder damast" is a decorative wall decoration in the hunting room and an indispensable, traditional pole weapon at the same time - from PUMA Solingen.
The practical PUMA "ehrensaufeder nach Frevert" follows the traditional custom of carrying a bare pole weapon on the hunt. This successful model was developed as early as the middle of the last century by OFM Walter Frevert and is still held in high esteem today due to its following characteristics: the forged tip made of hardened Damascus steel is sharpened and polished by hand in several work steps. The octagonal shaft made of ash wood is highly finely ground by hand in ever finer steps and then impregnated with a natural oil mixture. The winding of very tough saddle leather is treated with a special leather balm and fastened by means of hand-forged, blued, nails. The accompanying saddle leather sheath for the tip is very high quality workmanship and applied on one side with a genuine Sauschwarte. Thus, this professional PUMA boar spear stands not only for tradition, but also for true craftsmanship.
